The head cold came back again for the 3rd time. This made me suspicious. I am not much into being sick so I went to the dentist about a wisdom tooth that has been a little sore. Don’t much like losing money on health care issues but $1500 later I had one less tooth & Russian bone implanted into the rotted out hole in my jaw bone and more antibiotics. Hopefully no more sore throat & head colds. Now to Mister boat. A fuel pump didn’t solve the diesel in the oil problem. Sad day! Means I have to pull the Injection pump and put a new seal on it. Pain in the patute! German is still with us & Maria’s Mother may also soon be here. Full house. Finished the tile baseboards in the house. One project down and a lifetime more to go but at least there is a temporary sense of accomplishment and completion. Only in death can we truly complete all projects. However, sleeping on the sofa is a fair mimic of death and for a little while, one can live the illusion of all obligations fulfilled. Goofing off is excellent therapy for the press of life. In a couple of days I am off to Oklahoma to a gathering of old people ( older than me even) and perhaps some younger ones there to see what their bright future might be like! Scarry for them! It is what we do, who knows why? Live is good and sometimes you must lose a tooth to have a brighter day.
